A rich variety of life roles and experiences allows me to coach you more effectively from where you are to where you want to be.
Coach - I help people clarify their values and vision for their life and future. I can help you determine and live out the goals that will help you reach your personal vision for the life you were created to enjoy.
Counselor - I have seen God bring healing to individuals, troubled marriages, and whole families. I have a Masters of Science in Professional Counseling from Georgia State, and a Diploma in Christian Counseling from Psychological Studies Institute in Atlanta, Georgia.
Professor - As adjunct faculty at Grace University in Omaha, Nebraska, I provide guidance to college students for their careers, teach in the Psychology and Counseling Department, and provide supervision for interns in the Graduate Counseling Department.
Missionary - As a former missionary (25 years with Campus Crusade for Christ), I understand the challenges of transitions, culture shock, team building, and changing career directions. My work with the Christian Embassy in the former Soviet Union (ministering to government and media personnel) provided a wealth of experience in intercultural and interpersonal dynamics.
Single/Married - Having been single into my 40s, I understand the joys and frustrations of the single life. Since being married to Dr. Gary L. Nebeker, Assistant Professor of Theology at Grace University, I now have an even greater appreciation of life in ministry. |
